Naila led and technically contributed to the Child Centred Community Development Initiative in Sudan by strengthening and expanding the practice of child and community-centred learning and development.

Through her contribution to the promotion of Rights-Based Programming many children particularly in the area of education, skills development and protection were able to demand and realise their rights. Building the capacity of the children on Financial and Social aspects contributes directly to their empowerment and wellbeing.

Her leadership and support resulted in the scaling up of Aflatoun programme in new areas. She also works through partnerships with the Federal and State Ministries of Education, CSOs mainly Parent Teachers Councils, NNGOs particularly SNEFA and faculties of education (including the University of Khartoum).
