Mercy Luhanga Mchechu is an accomplished educationalist with more than 16 years in the Education Sector. She co-founded and serves as the Director of Rightway Nursery and Primary school with over 700 students and 90 staff. The school has been recognised as the Tanzanian best education sector company of the year 2021 and 2022 consecutively by the Tanzania Women Chamber of Commerce.

In addition, Mercy has co-founded an NGO, MINE FOUNDATION dedicated to empowering young boys to become responsible and productive members of the society. Boys’ attitudes and behaviours are products of what we teach them, they cannot become what they are not taught.

Mercy has received numerous National and International awards and accolades including, top 50 women in management Africa 2022, Best Woman in Education 2021, African Woman of impact on Education Development 2021 and Top 100 East African Women entrepreneur 2019 to name just a few.

Mercy has a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management and a degree in Finance from the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
