Linda Tran is the Associate Director of the Girls’ Education Programme at Room to Read where she provides technical assistance and strategic guidance to eight programme countries across Asia and Africa.  She firmly believes that the circumstances of where girls are born, should not dictate the educational and life opportunities available to them. This commitment has led to over a decade of efforts and initiatives to support education, gender equality, and women and girls’ rights both domestically and internationally.

Ms. Tran holds a B.A. degree in Asian American Studies and an M.A. degree in Sociology, both from the Stanford University, USA.  She also holds a Master of Public Administration degree from San Francisco State University, USA.
