Induni Shanika Dandeniya is a government school teacher by profession with 17 years of experience in teaching English. Presently, she serves as a School Coordinator of the ‘Thirteen Years Guaranteed Education Programme’, which empowers the youth (16 to 20yrs) with entrepreneurship skills.

Ms. Dandeniya is also an Aflatoun trainer since 2015 and Event Coordinator of NECY Sri Lanka. She joined as a resource person in the introductory course of Aflatoun Financial Literacy for children to various Malaysian stakeholders from October 2018 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, initiated by the Make It Right movement.

Ms. Dandeniya earned her National Diploma in Teaching in 2002 and successfully completed the first and second academic years of her B.Ed. education. Currently, she is studying for her LLB degree at the Open University of Sri Lanka and aspires to be an Attorney at Law in the near future.
