Herman is a Dutch national and currently based in Beirut, Lebanon. He holds a Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Commercial Economics from the University of Applied Sciences of Rotterdam. He has work and research experience with indigenous communities in Darwin, Northern Australia, with educational NGOs in Tamil Nadu, India, and with Aflatoun International in Lebanon. The Aflatoun mission to empower children and youth with social entrepreneurship skills perfectly fits his personal believes for more sustainable development worldwide. He provides local support in and around Lebanon on program development, fundraising, research support and partner outreach.
