Dita Tefera

Dita Tefera is an Ethiopian educational and social researcher by profession. Currently, he is Education in Emergency (EiE) Programme Manager for World Vison Ethiopia. In this capacity, he is leading the EiE programme, which focuses on education and life skills for crisis-affected children. Mr. Tefera has a key role in national education cluster and refugee education working group in Ethiopia.

Mr. Tefera had started his career as a secondary school teacher and also held school supervisor position. He has also held executive positions in different local and international non-governmental organisations. His expertise lies in child development and education. He has been contributing to the National Education Sector Development Programme in Ethiopia and working with the Ministry of Education. His contributions in the EiE response programme in the country is noteworthy. Besides, he has been serving as a member and chairperson of board of directors for different NGOs and private business organisations.

In 2012, Mr. Tefera earned his Master’s degree in Educational Research and Programme Development/Evaluation from Addis Ababa University.
